  9.                         INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

  12. Together with this README file, you will also have a file called INSTALL.EXE.
  13. This file is a self-extracting archive file containing all of the files
  14. required to run this program.
  15.

  18. To install these files on your computer:
  19.  
  20. Simply enter the path to the self-extracting archive, then the name of the
  21. file itself.  For example, if the self-extracting archive was in 'B' drive,
  22. you would type: B:\INSTALL
  23.  
  24. This will install the program to a directory called \STOCK on the current
  25. drive.
  26.  
  27. Alternatively, you may install to the current directory by typing
  28. <drive>:\INSTALL /x (for example: B:\INSTALL /x).
  29.  
  30. This will extract the files into your newly created directory.  These files
  31. will take up around 208,000 bytes (203k) of disk space.
  32.  
  33. The process will now be complete.  You may start the program by simply typing
  34. STOCK (then press <ENTER>) when you are in the directory that The Stock Analyst
  35. is now residing.  Before you do start the program, we do recommend that you
  36. first read the documentation file STOCK.DOC.
